Finding out all about us

7th May 2017

After our 9.30am service this Sunday,  at 11.00am we are holding our Annual Church Meeting which will be chaired by Antony MacRow-Wood, the Archdeacon of Dorset. This is a chance to find out what has been happening in the Parish over the past year and to look forward to the year ahead. Everyone is welcome to attend and hear about life at St Nicholas and St Hubert's and those on the electoral roll of the Parish are able to vote when that this required.

The meeting will be followed at around 12.30 with a Bring and Share lunch. We will be eating and fellowshiping together, building friendships and getting to know one another better. It will also be an opportunity to share an official farewell to Rev Belinda Marflitt who has been our interim priest for the last year.

Belinda has worked tirelessly over the past year, with the Churchwardens and the PCC to prepare the churches for our next vicar and the ministry that is to come. It has been a challenging time but Belinda has been patient, generous and hugely supportive. She has cared for us and guided us and we are very grateful to her. As she moves on to her new Parish we pray God's blessing on all that she seeks to do and will remember her time with us fondly.

You are welcome to join us for any part of Sunday -  if you are coming to the lunch please just bring something to share.
